Guided by a shared commitment to advancing health care in our community, as our Senior Specialist, Impact and Evaluation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring approved projects deliver on their intended outcomes. Through diligent progress monitoring, insightful evaluation, and collaborative problem-solving when challenges arise, you will help to advance our mission by capturing, reporting, and sharing impacts of our work.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

- Ensuring funded projects adhere to established agreements, financial requirements, and reporting guidelines through regular monitoring, progress review, and project close-out activities.
- In cases of project delays or challenges, partnering with funding recipients and stakeholders to identify effective solutions, ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders.
- In collaboration with Marketing and Communications, developing and implementing tools and processes for capturing and reporting project outcomes and impacts to support donor stewardship and storytelling.
- Supporting the preparation of reports and information sharing across departments, to enhance awareness of funded initiatives and ensure transparent communication of project progress and impact.
- Reviewing and recommending enhancements to funding processes, project management procedures, and the grant management system to optimize efficiency, reporting accuracy, and impact tracking.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical leader with a proven ability to assess program effectiveness and progress outcomes. Bringing project management expertise and sound business acumen, the successful incumbent excels at navigating and balancing multiple complex priorities while effectively managing rigorous tracking, evaluation, insightful reporting, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Possessing a highly collaborative mindset and exceptional interpersonal skills, development of strong and productive relationships will come naturally, both internally and across the health system, significantly contributing to the achievement of the organization's mission and goals.

Additional qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., business, health-related, or sciences); Master’s level education is an asset.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant sector-specific experience in roles with a focus on project management, database management, and/or outcome/ROI measurement.
- Experience with impact reporting frameworks—particularly in healthcare, post-secondary education, or research—is an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is expected that the starting salary for this position will be $90,000 - $100,000, aligned with the successful candidate's experience and skill set.
