Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Senior Business System Analyst (Payments) for a long-term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).

Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Title: Senior Business System Analyst (Payments)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 4 Days onsite/week)

Long term Contract

Client: Banking/Financial

Must have:

- Strong hands-on knowledge of ISO 20022 payments message categories and structures (pacs, pain, camt, acmt).
- Experience on payments systems such as Wires, SWIFT, RTP, ACH, Cross-Border payments, or Real-Time payments.
- Strong expertise in mapping payments data between legacy formats (MT101, MT103, MT199 etc.) and ISO 20022 message schema.
- Experience creating BRD, FRD, Interface Specifications, Data Mapping documents, and traceability matrices.
- Strong understanding of payments lifecycle—initiation, authorization, settlement, returns, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with XML formats, schemas, and payment validation rules.
- Ability to collaborate with technology teams and functional SMEs, clarify ambiguities, and drive resolution.
