Role Description

This is a full-time mostly remote role for a Network Administrator and Technical Support professional.

The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing network administration, performing system maintenance, addressing internal and external technical support inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security. The role involves managing and optimizing IT systems to support the operational efficiency and security of the company.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in Network Administration and System Administration
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Bilingual Technical Support
- Knowledge of Network Security and implementing best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in EDI or automation-related environments is a plus

Key responsibilities

- Customer Support (Level 2)
- Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues.
- Implementing security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Configuring, and maintaining operating systems on servers and endpoints.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights to various systems and applications.
- Monitoring system performance and responding to alerts and errors.
- Performing system backups and ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery.
- Applying security patches and updates to keep systems protected against vulnerabilities.
- Responding to user-reported issues and providing technical support for network and system-related problems.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Enforcing IT policies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and SOC 2 security standards.
- Monitoring the performance of integrated systems and optimizing them for efficiency and reliability.
- Managing changes to integrated systems and ensuring smooth transitions during system updates or upgrades.
- Coordinating and managing integrations with third-party vendors and external systems.
- Other Network & EDI support tasks

Education and Experience Requirements

- College-level education in Information Technology
- Bilingual: French and English (speak/write)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
- Professional experienced in a technology company
