Mobile Technician and Sales Executive – Mississauga

Job Description:
As a Mobile Technician at UniverCell Canada, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. You will provide high-quality technical support to customers, ensuring their devices are restored to optimal functionality. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various mobile devices.
2. Perform repairs on smartphones and tablets, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs.
3. Ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs to meet customer expectations.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile technology trends and repair techniques.
5. Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers.
6. Test repaired devices to ensure functionality and quality before returning them to customers.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
8. Manage inventory of parts and tools required for repairs.
9. Collaborate with the sales team to advise customers on repair options and device maintenance.
10. Up-sell accessories and maintain inventory.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mobile repair is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a mobile technician or in a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
7. Familiarity with repair tools and equipment.
