Job Overview:

BOMCAS Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and processing the accounts receivable function for our clients, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with clients to gather and verify customer invoices and payment requests.
- Process invoices, credit memos, and payment receipts accurately and promptly.
- Ensure proper coding and documentation of accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding payments, disputes, and inquiries.
- Reconcile customer accounts and address discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute regular statements of accounts to customers.
- Apply payments to customer accounts and allocate funds correctly.
- Assist in preparing month-end and year-end accounts receivable reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Qualifications:

- Relevant diploma or certification in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accounts receivable specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and receipts.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and customers.
