Overview

Randstad is seeking an Operations Officer to join a growing team within a large banking organization. This hybrid role will initially focus on back-office tasks before transitioning to a balance of phone interactions and account management. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills and experience within a large organization.

Position: Account Specialist

Shift: Rotating shifts (8:30 – 5:00PM, 10 – 6:30PM, 11:30 – 8:00PM)

Location: Markham, ON L3R 0X1 (Hybrid) 4 days a week in office starting November

Responsibilities

- Provide inbound and outbound support to customers.
- Create an exceptional customer experience.
- Navigate multiple systems to locate and update customer information.
- Conduct account reviews to identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Follow procedures for Business Account compliance, including documentation.
- Ensure accurate documentation reflecting client intentions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer service or contact center experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and solve problems.
- Banking experience and additional language skills (Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, French) are assets.
