What you can expect:
We currently have an opening in our Langley office for a Real Estate Legal Administrative Assistant. This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills.
Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:
- Opening, organizing and closing files
- Drafting and sending correspondence
- Managing intake of documents and file related materials
- Ordering file related materials
- Assisting with final reporting
- Assisting with drafting, issuing and following up on invoices
- Other ad‑hoc duties depending on the volume
What you bring to the table:
- At least one year of office experience – preferably in a similar role within a law firm
- A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post‑secondary institution
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Desire to learn and ask questions as necessary
Compensation
The typical salary range for this position is $52,000 - $57,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related skills/knowledge, experience, and internal and market equity.
Work Environment:
- This is a full‑time position based out of our Langley office
- The role requires the successful applicant to work 5 days a week Monday‑Friday (35 hours a week; 7 hours a day with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
