ABOUT THE ROLE The Operations Administrator is responsible for the daily managing of all administration tasks associated with the Ready Mix Plant in Edmonton. These duties include: general office support and sales and customer service. This role is critical to ensure that best practices are implemented, and operations processes are correctly completed. The Operations Administrator works closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Team and Shipping Department. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH ● Work with purchasing, operations group, and vendors to obtain required information and prepare clear, concise and accurate product and service description for inclusion in specifications, scope of work statements, purchase order and RFP (requests for proposals), and simple service agreements. ● Conduct payroll. ● Accurate and timely entry of daily time reports, which includes analysis of variances between reports and pay cheques ● Keep front office and storage areas organized and order and inventory all office supplies ● Process all incoming and outgoing calls. ● Accurate and daily entry of KPI tracking sheet. ● Assist customers with invoice inquiries. ● Handle all credit card transactions. Ensure proper customer invoicing, reconciliation and processing all credit and rebills. ● Run reports as required for Managerial team. ● Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years administration experience. Required Training/Certifications: N/A Required Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Suite and SAP. Salesforce experience is and asset. Travel Requirements: 0-5% Additional Requirements: ● Strong oral and written communication skills. ● Must have the ability to plan and organize people and processes. ● Ability to work independently and effectively in a high paced environment. ● Strong computer application knowledge. ● Detail oriented. ● Contain customer service skills. ● Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
