What we are looking for

Our business is growing so we have an ongoing need to build and scale our Sales Team. As a Business Development Manager - Refrigerated Division, you will join our Boomer Fresh Team. This is a division of Dynamic Connections that focuses specifically on produce and refrigerated goods in Canada and the US markets.

What’s unique about this role is that you control your success. You will be responsible for driving produce business growth by effectively developing a pipeline of potential customers in conjunction with the ideal customer profile of the business. You will focus on prospects in the US that ship produce products on refrigerated equipment both domestically and cross border. Your role is to identify, prospect, and secure new customers. You will use a variety of different tools and methods, with the support of the entire organization.

As a starting point, you will focus on prospecting and cold calling. As you build a book of business, you will build deep, meaningful, and rewarding relationships with your customers. These are long term relationships where we strive to solve problems and fulfill our customers’ needs. Once you secure a new customer, you will partner with our best-in-class Solutions Team, who will focus deeply on your customers’ needs. This creates a unique opportunity to continue finding new customers, as you continue to receive permanent commissions on every customer that you help us partner with. Responsibilities

- Drive produce business growth by developing a pipeline of potential customers in the refrigerated division for Canada and the US.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new customers; focus on US-based prospects shipping produce on refrigerated equipment.
- Build and manage a book of business through prospecting and cold calling; develop long-term relationships with customers.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Team to address customer needs and solve problems.
- Leverage tools and company support to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

- A proven track record in sales with the ability to discuss quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- A self-starter with initiative; comfortable with cold calling and pursuing new customers, industries, and challenges.
- A natural communicator with strong listening and relationship-building skills.
- Highly collaborative and customer-focused; motivated to help our business win.
- Curious and solution-oriented; able to identify how our services address customer pain points.
- Prior sales success and metrics, with cold calling experience; specific industry experience not required.

Bonus Points

- Experience with Salesforce or other sales software; ability to be data-driven and customer-focused. If Salesforce is new, willingness to learn.

- This is a full-time permanent position with our Dynamic ‘Green Team’. Remote candidates in the US with proven produce sales experience are welcome.

$50,000 - $80,000 a year

We have an uncapped commission structure with accelerators in place.
