**Job Description:****Billing and Collection Specialist**The ideal candidate will have great communication, strong people skills and a positive attitude. They will be a collaborative team player who is solution-oriented, able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have a high sense of urgency.Multi-tasking is essential in this role as billing representatives make a real difference to their customers and the company. In this role, you will learn how to provide over-the-phone account and payment support services.This position is **in-person**Schedule: M-F 8 am - 5 pmPay: $14.50-16/hr depending on experience## **Duties/Responsibilities:*** ## Manage a high volume of incoming calls* ## Assist customers who have billing inquires and/or are calling to make a payment/update payment method* ## Assist with questions related to price increases* ## Educate customer on past due balances and set up payment arrangements as needed* ## Apply credits to customer accounts as needed* ## Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication* ## Assist with other billing department duties## **Required Skills/Abilities**:* ## Excellent verbal and written communication skills* ## Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills* ## Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* ## Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines* ## Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills* ## Ability to prioritize tasks* ## Ability to work collaboratively with others* ## Ability to function well in a high‐paced and at times stressful environment* ## Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software## **Education and Experience:*** ## High school diploma or equivalent* ## No experience required, but previous collections experience preferred.## **Physical Requirements:*** ## Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* ## Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.* ## Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.* ## The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* ## Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.HEALTH BENEFITS* Medical, dental and vision coverage* Company‐paid life insurance* Optional supplemental benefits* 401(k) plan with company match* Immediate enrollment eligibility* Convenient direct paycheck deposit* Team Member reward and recognition programAND MORE* Eight (8) paid holidays* Paid time off eligibility begins the first day of employment* $500 bonus at 6 months/* (/*As long as employee is not in a period of resignation)* Team Member referral bonusesWe are a drug-free workplace, and an Equal Opportunity Employer.A pre‐hire compliance screening and background screening will be conducted.
