Position Overview

- D. Floyd Construction is seeking skilled Experienced Fence Installers to join our dynamic team. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary’s most impactful projects

Key Responsibilities

- Assist and lead in the construction and installation of fences (wood, chain link, ornamental)
- Work independently and ensure projects are completed to company stands, on time.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a productive and positive work environment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, and organized job site
- Assist with other duties as required

Experience & Skills

- Minimum 1 year of experience installing fences (wood, chain link, and/or ornamental) is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- Follow company safety protocols on all sites
- Experience leading a crew would be considered an asset

Pay and Benefits

- Competitive hourly rate of $24.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 90% employer-paid coverage, available after 3 months
- Some company tools to be provided for work use

Schedule

- 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 – 4:30)
- Overtime pay available for additional hours worked
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year – we work throughout winter
