- We’re seeking a professional with significant sales experience in the IT services space with demonstrable results.
- Sophisticated and experienced IT services “doer” with a proven track record of hunting new business opportunities and closing at least $5M+ in annual services revenue - an individual who can create and manage relationships, become a trusted resource, and drive revenues that contribute towards Auxis’s growth plan.
- Must be people and business savvy sales leader with extensive IT operations expertise featuring demonstrable depth of experience in the delivery of outsourced IT operations and custom IT solutions and services.
- IT services sales background, combined with broad business acumen that reflects an entrepreneurial “get-it-done” attitude and a collaborative people-oriented approach both internally with the high-level Auxis team and with clients.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for growing the client base and revenues (recurring outsourced services based) in both the middle market – where Auxis has a significant base and competitive advantage – and the Fortune 1000 market spaces where Auxis has been making significant headway and finding rapid market acceptance.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline, connecting with, and building strong relationships with IT and business executives, closing sales, and coordinating resources of subject matter experts at Auxis who will support the sale and help build momentum towards closing deals.
- Lead efforts to acquire new clients through direct individual prospecting and sales activities. This includes, but is not limited to prospect identification and research, penetrating new accounts through direct prospecting activities and proper qualification of potential business opportunities.
- Develop high level executive relationships with true decision makers, key officers and directors at new prospective clients and maintain high-level relationships with clients to facilitate recurring client revenues and referrals.
- Stay current on IT trends and provide credible knowledge and understanding of IT to client personnel at the executive and managerial levels.
- Expand awareness of Auxis’ IT outsourcing and consulting capabilities. This includes but is not limited to active involvement in professional associations, professional speaking engagements, thought leadership, etc.
- Generate demand and close sales from existing and newly developed relationships with both middle market and Fortune 1000 prospects.
- Develop plans and activities that create and accelerate awareness, interest, and conversion (interest/enthusiasm and recommendations from influencers and revenues from prospects/clients).
- Work with marketing and customer delivery and provide feedback to both teams as needed.
- Being seen as a key producer in the company and a part of the overall team, rapidly earning respect internally by seeing the bigger picture.
- Develop deep relationships and high levels of intimacy with targeted ITO prospects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Auxis portfolio and service offerings; understands how to leverage through client’s entire business.
- Build an extensive portfolio of service-related opportunities by identifying and anticipating processes and functions to improve client operations and/or cut expenses; involves identifying recurring revenue business opportunities, selling concepts to the client where required.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum of at least 7 years (preferably 10+) of overall sales experience with at least 3 years selling IT services to middle market and Fortune 1000.
- Understanding and experience with any combination of Infrastructure, Cloud technologies, and Managed Services (ITO).
- Strong general knowledge of IT trends and operations (Cloud, ITIL, etc.) and be able to differentiate between nearshore Latin American outsourcing and far away offshore outsourcing in Asia. Not a “techy”, but need to understand IT and be conversant.
- Should be able to explain how an IT department is organized, major challenges IT organizations are facing and strong awareness of the competitive environment within the IT services industry.
- General knowledge of data center facilities and infrastructure, ITIL process methodologies, and ITSM solutions such as ServiceNow and SysAid.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation solutions and associated methodology to support the business units and IT teams in transforming business challenges into technology solutions.
- High comfort level proposing and building relationships with C-suite IT executives and other IT professionals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills & outstanding presentation skills.
- Experience with Sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and HubSpot CRM tools a plus.
