Eagle Homes is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant/New Home Consultant in Cranbrook. This hybrid role combines sales support and client-facing responsibilities, offering the opportunity to grow within the company and take on more independent sales opportunities as your skills and experience develop.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of accountability, a proven track record in sales, and excellent customer service skills. Our ideal candidate is driven to succeed, embraces challenges, is adaptable, and takes proactive steps to move the sales process forward while building rapport with clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in prospecting for new business, including making cold calls.
- Qualify potential clients and opportunities early in the sales process.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and clients, with a focus on turning them into long-term customers.
- Provide support throughout the sales cycle, including managing home projects from initial contact through to completion.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling and documentation related to sales and client interactions.
- Support the sales team by helping to close sales and manage leads.

Skills and Abilities:

- Positive attitude and a strong track record in sales or customer service.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong sales and closing skills, with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with prospecting, including making cold calls (sales experience is an asset).
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CRM systems is a plus.

Experience:

- No prior experience required, but at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience is an asset.
- Proven ability to convert leads into customers and close sales.
- Experience providing quotes and documentation in past sales roles is a plus.
- Familiar with the process of managing sales leads and negotiations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to track and follow up on leads.

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- No experience required, but willingness to learn and grow within the company is essential.

Compensation:

- Starting at $17.40 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Commissions available based on sales made by the employee.
- Company extended benefits available.
