Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist with specialized training in autism assessments and sensory assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children, teens, and adults who struggle with adaptive skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges. This contractor position offers the opportunity for full-time hours in our new space, with potential for partnership. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive autism assessments, sensory assessments, and occupational therapy evaluations. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of children, teens, and adults. - Provide therapy focused on improving adaptive skills, emotional regulation, and managing behavioral challenges. - Offer treatment and support for children and their families, helping them navigate and manage their unique challenges. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients. - Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child's or loved one's needs. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy. Qualifications:> - Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. - Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - Specialized training in autism assessments and sensory assessments. - Experience working with children, teens, and adults with adaptive skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges. - Strong understanding of the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
