This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include business development, organizational management, work methodologies, scheduling, cost control, adherence to drawings and specifications, quality assurance, and task assignment to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.Position OverviewAs Project Executive, you will be accountable for the overall success of projects you oversee. This role provides daily leadership of project teams and nurtures client relationships. The Project Executive will oversee multiple projects, manage project administration, and handle complex, integrated initiatives, maintaining a Project Manager mindset to ensure accuracy and efficiency from all team members and company representatives, while fostering a strong client relationship.The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. Target total compensation is $210,000 - $230,000. Base salaries depend on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Key ResponsibilitiesOVERALL PROJECT ACCOUNTABILITY: Ensure complete oversight of the project, aligning with design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.COMMUNICATION LEADER: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders. Develop and implement communication plans to ensure timely and accurate information flow. Address and resolve communication barriers or issues.WORK PLANNING AND OVERSIGHT: Plan, direct, and manage divisional work plans, including construction projects and facilities services. Assign tasks, review contracts for compliance, and address discrepancies as needed.CAPITAL PLANNING & BUDGET ADMINISTRATION: Act as liaison for capital planning and construction efforts. Supervise and help develop budgets for facilities services and construction projects. Monitor expenditures and approve costs as necessary.GOAL DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGIC PLANNING: Collaborate in creation and implementation of divisional goals; participate in strategic planning activities.AGENCY OVERSIGHT & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT: Represent the company in negotiations and administration of contracts with external agencies, vendors, architects, engineers, and operators; oversee RFQs, RFPs, bids, and contracts.SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL STRATEGIES: Develop and implement programs to maintain safe, functional facilities and efficient operations.PROBLEM SOLVING AND IMPLEMENTATION: Analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: Select, train, motivate, and evaluate staff; coordinate training, counsel employees, and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or a minimum of 15 years of professional construction experience. Preferred: MBA, Masters in Engineering, Management, or related field.Minimum of 10 years Construction Management/Engineering experience with Mission Critical/Data Center or Heavy Industrial background. Preferred: PMP Certification.Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects with knowledge of data center design, construction and operational requirements.Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) to enhance project planning, design and construction processes, and implementing BIM standards.Minimum of 5 years of experience leading large cross-functional teams in a large GC environment.SkillsConstruction knowledge: knowledge of construction methodologies, CSI building codes, and industry best practices.Agreement navigation: experience with Owner/Design/Contractor agreements.Microsoft Office proficiency, including PowerPoint and Excel for program updates and budgets.Construction management software: experience with ProCore and P6.Technology proficiency: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for project management and communication.Cost proposal development: experience in developing project cost proposals and negotiating terms.We OfferA dynamic workplace with an innovative culture and focus on results.Competitive compensation and a comprehensive total rewards package.Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision).401(k) retirement plan to support long-term financial goals.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Critical Project Services is an equal opportunity employer.
