About the Role

As our new Technology Developer, you’ll join our small but growing team of technology developers who play a critical role in our continued success in the marketplace. As a 3PL company, we manage the transportation and warehousing for our customers in our Salesforce platform. Your role will entail developing technology and data solutions in various environments, including Salesforce, Power BI, Heroku, Boomi and Tableau; all with the aim to (i) improve the day‑to‑day customer experience, (ii) improve data visibility and user experience for our team, and (iii) develop novel tools and processes that will continue to differentiate us as a leading 3PL company.

What you will do, day to day:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understanddata +software requirements, specifications, and user stories

- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to ensure quality and reliability

- Assistin evaluating third‑party technologies, tools, and services for potential integration; ensuring we are always innovating

- Leverage data to analyze sales and operational metrics to build useful dashboards for the respective departments

- Develop processautomationtools and revise existing automations to continuously improve

- Learn and stay up to date on developments within the Salesforce ecosystem, become a SME on this tool

Bonus Points if you have:

- Salesforce is an asset but notrequired; we will provide training so come ready to learn

- Power BI or Dax experience is an asset

- Tableau exposure or knowledge is another niceto have

- You have experience with data and enjoy solving unique business problemsleveragingthat data

- Experience in thelogisticsor transportation industry

To be successful in this role, you bring:

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering,Data Scienceor related years of experience and technical skills

- Experience with Object‑Oriented programming (Salesforce Apex, Java, etc.)

- Experience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL

- Detail‑oriented, you catch errors and discrepancies…better yet, you find them before they become mistakes

- Self‑starting and resourceful; you are also curious and like to learn new things

- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly

- Strong problem‑solving capabilities and able to independently think through a challenge

- Strong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status(e.g., project phase, issues/roadblocks, go-live dates, etc.)

Our pledge to you and what we offer:

- This is a full‑time permanent position

- This job can be fully remote, in‑office, or hybrid based on your preference

- Your starting salary will range between $50,000-$55,000 per year depending on your qualifications, with plenty of opportunities to increase your earnings as you learn and grow with the company

$50,000 - $55,000 a year
