Senior Estimator – Interior Fit-Outs (General Contractor)
We’re a growing General Contractor specializing in high-quality interior fit-outs, and we’re looking for a Senior Estimator to own the full tendering process for office, retail, and commercial interiors.
What you’ll do
- Lead estimating for interior fit-out projects from bid/no-bid through submission.
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs and trade breakdowns from drawings and specs.
- Prepare and coordinate bid packages to subtrades; review, level, and compare quotes.
- Identify scope gaps, risks, VE options, and opportunities to strengthen our bid.
- Work closely with project managers and operations to align pricing with means and methods.
- Maintain and refine cost history, unit rates, and trade coverage for future tenders.
What you bring
- 7–10+ years estimating experience with a General Contractor, focused on interior fit-outs.
- Strong knowledge of interior trades (drywall, millwork, glazing, flooring, finishes, MEP coordination).
- Experience with fast-track and occupied-space projects.
- Solid grasp of contract types, procurement, and GC–subtrade relationships.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with tight deadlines and multiple bids.
