The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight activities for our Canadian operation including but not limited to equipment control, rail, vessel, maintenance and repair, truck dispatching, obtaining estimates, invoice and planning. The position will be located in our Saint John, NB office.

Specific duties include:

- Reviews, reconciles and maintains freight handling equipment inventory and updates system with daily activity
- Reviews and maintains freight handling equipment movements on rail and updates vendor system
- Verifies accuracy of freight and handling equipment, rail, trucking and warehouse billing and approves invoices for payment
- Coordinates operational duties as required for sourcing rail, trucking and warehousing vendors
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and quantifies the associated costs and benefits
- Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to manage service and grow customer relationships

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Also, the ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in International Import/Export trade and /or Logistics.
- Must be comfortable in a computerized environment with strong knowledge of MS Office software
- Bilingual-English/French would be considered an asset.
