Responsibilities:
We are currently recruiting for a Assistant Store Manager in our Fort St. James, BC location.
The Assistant Store Manager strives to make our stores a great place to shop for our Customers. We rely on you to provide super-friendly service, maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment, merchandise the store and support the Store Manager in leading the team.
1. Open and close the store
2. Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the store manager
3. Provide excellent Customer Service and attend to their needs & enquiries at the register and otherwise
4. Order, receive and stock merchandise
5. Set up windows and in-store displays and signage
6. Complete timely cycle count
7. Process product returns, price changes and mark downs
8. Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders
9. Submit reports and Payroll to Home Office
10. Report Loss Prevention, Health & Safety and damages incidences
11. Maintain and delegate daily tour book entries/store tasks
12. Make bank deposits
13. Attend to daily paperwork and emails
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
1. General experience in retail for 2-3 years
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment
4. Effective organizational and time management skills
5. Availability to work evenings and weekends
Pay: $19.25 per hour
