Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Patient Services, the Patient Services Manager for the Radiation Therapy Department oversees and manages multidisciplinary teams composed of direct and indirect patient care staff. The primary objective of this role is to lead and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient patient care. The incumbent will inspire and guide staff to embrace and implement integrated, person‑centred care and service delivery models for CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB). This position is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the School of Radiation Therapy. This involves determining education and training needs for students and staff as well as ensuring ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements.
The Patient Services Manager, Radiation Therapy is accountable for providing patient‑centric operational management in a financially responsible manner. Collaboration with leadership, internal teams, and external partners is essential to support patients accessing quality cancer services. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators, working collaboratively with partners, and ensuring safe, effective, and appropriate patient care through the clinical quality framework and a patient‑centric approach. This role will cultivate an environment that promotes clinical and service excellence.

Level of Formal Education & Experience
- Post‑secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited education institution
- A relevant graduate degree is an asset.
- Certificate in Adult Education preferred
- (Insert Experience requirement)
- Master level in Education or RT preferred
- 5 years of progressive management experience leading a broad spectrum of patient services in a publicly funded health services delivery organization, including:
- 5 years of experience working in Radiation Therapy
- 3 years of experience organizing, coordinating and leading education and training programs
- 2 years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating education strategies and activities
- 2 years of management experience leading a clinical operations team within a unionized environment is desired
- 2 years of experience implementing program planning, development and evaluation An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, communications and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant healthcare‑related management courses are an asset, including but not limited to change management, patient satisfaction, Multidisciplinary team environments, conflict resolution, and quality improvement
- Experience managing projects with multi‑disciplinary internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to accuracy and detail strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships. Physical Requirements
Required Licenses, Registrations, Designations:
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT) registration required
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings and to lift and carry items
- Interruptions to respond to questions from executives and partner organizations are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled
- Must have a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle for regular travel within the province.

- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Ability to speak French is considered an asset.
