We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions. This role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to align technology with organizational goals, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
This opportunity is open to both full-time salaried employees and independent contractors.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Provide strategic technology guidance, ensuring IT investments support business goals.
- Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide systems, ensuring integration, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document enterprise technology standards and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Lead the development of solution architectures for major initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Establish governance processes to enforce architectural standards.
- Work with IT teams to resolve architectural challenges and optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry best practices.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, including at least 4 years as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Experience with cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), microservices, and modern integration patterns.
- Proficiency in designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
- Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
ASSETS:
- Experience in industries such as Healthcare, Telecom, or Government.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or CISSP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives.

- A self-starter with the ability to recommend priorities to the project leader
