Position Summary: For students with little or no background in human biology, this course is a basic introduction to biological concepts related to human health and disease. Topics include a review of anatomy, physiology and the pathology of selected organ systems and their associated diseases.

Responsibilities:

- Teach an introductory biology course to students with limited prior background.

- Develop and deliver asynchronous online lectures, readings, and assessments.

- Provide timely feedback and support to students to promote learning.

- Maintain accurate online student records and course materials.

Qualifications – Required:

- Doctoral Degree in a related biological discipline.

Qualifications – Preferred:

- Previous university teaching experience.

- Refereed publications in the area.
