Responsibilities

- Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.

- Professionally install HVAC equipment, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.

- Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance.

- Be willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service oriented team.

- Create a positive relationship with customers; offer for sale other company products and services and demonstrate your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Adhere to all safety rules.

- Never sell the customer a repair they do not need.

- Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer.

- Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean and safe standard.

- Successfully obtain HVAC leads and enroll CPP to company performance targets.

Qualifications

- A growth mindset: above all else, we’re looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance

- Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.

- Must have certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D).

- Must have Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license.

- Must have a valid ODP certificate.

- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.

- Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts as required.

- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.

- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.

- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (ie. Electronics/ electricity).

- Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
