This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

**Make a difference**

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Architecture, the Business Planner, Enterprise Architecture drives the development and sustainment of Information Technology Services’ strategic plans, in a manner that aligns and supports Toronto Community Housing’s strategic goals. The successful proponent will be responsible for coordinating activities across various teams ranging from TCHC’s ITS strategic plan, administration of the ITS governance, ITS risk and innovation frameworks, special projects involving broad strategic initiatives in areas of Technology (IT and OT), Application Modernization Transformation and Innovation, and Value generation. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative and collegial, and the Business Planner is expected to be a critical thinker, solution-focused, detail oriented, and have the ability to exercise sound judgment at all times.

**What you’ll do**
- Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives as it relates to Information Technology Services.
- Support the planning, co-ordination, communication, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of IT strategic plan, IT governance, IT standardization and IT risks.
- Supports the development of business cases.
- Track and monitor the financial implications of the various plans.
- Support initiatives to ensure they are delivered in accordance with internal interested parties and/or other requirements.
- Consult with teams across other business units as appropriate.
- Support the development, coordination and review of organizational performance measurement by senior management.
- Develop recommendations to improve business processes.
- Provide advice to improve performance measures and reporting, as appropriate.
- Provide support for managing relationships with various divisional business units and the IT service managers by coordinating strategic initiatives and fulfilling reporting requirements.
- Monitor, track, and verify all business unit reporting requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including senior leadership, department heads, delivery leads and external consultants to implement strategies, and transformation programs to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with key organizational change management leads to confirm that change management strategies are considered and planned to ensure the smooth transitions/adoption of new initiatives.
- Consult and collaborate with other business units and executive leadership as appropriate to gain their feedback on content areas.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of key IT transformational and strategic initiatives, including changes to policies, procedures and business processes.
- Consult with relevant internal and external parties on the development/implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Communications and Learning & Organizational Development Teams to develop implementation plans for newly created policies and procedures.
