**Job Summary**
We are a dynamic healthcare team committed to delivering top-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a dedicated **Canadian Cetified Physician Assistant (CCPA)** to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform minor procedures such as injections.
- Prescribe medications and order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, x-rays, ultrasounds)
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using systems like PS Suites
- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment, and preventive care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
**Qualifications**
- **Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) designation.**:
- **Graduate of the McMaster PA Program or Consortium of PA Education, or equivalent.**:
- Strong clinical skills across a variety of medical areas, including acute care and pediatrics.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, particularly PS Suites is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $80.00 per hour
