**Qualifications**
- License with CNO
- Diploma/certificate approved by College of Nurses Ontario
- At least 1-year experience in medical office or hospital
- Must have ACLS
- Good communication skills in English
- Prepare patients for the appointment with physicians
- Check all questionnaires and document in EMR
- Obtain and document specified patient’s history as guided by physician
- Complete Opioids checklist as per physician guidance
- Document any specific patient concerns
- pre-procedures vitals check
- clarify any patient inquiries within the scope of their practice
- Perform Urine drug screening test with the kit provided
- Assist physician in regular assessment of patients
- Chaperon for examination if needed
- Prepare tray for procedure
- Ensure infection control measures
- Watch intra-procedure continuous monitoring and document
- Check and record post-procedure vital signs and any immediate post-procedural complications
- Check and maintain log of procedure rooms for medical supplies
- Check and maintain log of resuscitation cart, and ensure working condition of defibrillator and other resuscitation devices including suction, oxygen tanks, and resuscitation medicines, etc
- Coordinate with biomedical technician for calibration of equipment’s as needed
- Help front desk staff as needed
- Patient education regarding their chronic pain management plan as guided by the treating physician
- Ensure neat and tidy appearance of the facility
- Attending quality assurance meetings is mandatory
- Designated tasks as assigned by medical director or physicians within scope of practice
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
