**JOB SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Director of Properties, the Manager, Infrastructure Redevelopment is AGLC’s SME representative for major capital retrofits. This position oversees and provides expert scoping information for infrastructure system requirements (mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, civil, FAS, SS, BMCS). This position is also responsible to provide SME level quality control inputs to the contract documents, procurement work, contractor management, system commissioning, deficiency control/clearance, and warranty periods of major capital retrofit projects.

AGLC owns several Warehouses for storage and operations of Liquor, Gaming & Cannabis as well as several office locations across the province, including five-story office building. Currently we are embarking on an aggressive capital program to retrofit our infrastructure during the remaining of the decade.

This position must be able to understand the nature of brownfield project work, and how all disciplines and systems must be properly integrated in order to provide value for the owner.

This role directly affects the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of AGLC operations by providing technical leadership to major projects that support Divisional needs and impacts all internal functions as well as all of AGLC.

To be successful in this role, you will need deep technical knowledge of facility and municipal engineering systems and a high level of project management, planning, programming, procurement, construction safety and financial systems knowledge is required. Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills are also required to communicate with various functional areas and implement new initiatives with business and stakeholder groups. You will also need an exceptional level of initiative and ability to be self-directed in order to thrive in a high energy and fast-paced environment where you will need to coordinate and organize priorities involving multiple tasks, personnel and resources. Creative solution and proactive thinking are also critical in this role to meet timelines for project related challenges.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Completed Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or electrical) with a minimum of four (4) years of management experience within a facilities management environment with progressively responsible roles including complex projects, contract procurement and consultant /contractor management experience is required.
- Equivalent education or a combination of education and experience can be considered.
- Trades certification (electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc.) would be considered an asset.
- Project management certification is considered highly desirable.
- Facility management/supervisory certification through IFMA or BOMA is desirable.
