**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**Must have Dental Assisting Certification and be willing to complete it within 30 days of employment. If you do not have certification, we will help you get it. We also provide training on the proper use of instruments and techniques used in dental assisting.**
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to work daily from the Vancouver, BC area.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as contribute to team activities when needed.
- Must be friendly with a positive attitude and be able to handle stressful situations gracefully if asked for assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a dental assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical assistance to patients via phone or in the office by providing information about the treatment they will receive via instruments, products or treatments. You will also ensure that patients feel as comfortable as possible before, during and after treatment. Other responsibilities include patients’ questions being answered efficiently; making sure all their needs are met; preparing them for treatments; verifying their insurance; preparing charts and writing treatment notes. You will also assist dentists by taking impressions of patients’ teeth before having them fitted for custom dentures or act as an after-hours backup phone contact if needed.'

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$37.00 per hour
