Job Title: Dental Assistant - Private Family Practice
Location: Downtown Vancouver (Stadium Dental) - 2 min walk from Chinatown Stadium Skytrain Station
Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled dental assistant to join our private family practice located in downtown Vancouver. As a member of our small and dedicated team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring smooth dental procedures. New graduates are welcome to apply, as we offer comprehensive training and a supportive work environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and restorative work.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure that all dental instruments are properly sanitized and organized.
- Use iTero scanner and IO camera for digital impressions and intraoral photography.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
- Provide chairside assistance, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring efficient workflow.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year as a Dental Assistant.
- Familiarity with digital dental technology, including experience with iTero scanners and IO cameras, will be an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an asset.
- Radiography module will be an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
