**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Use effective interpersonal communication skills with students, faculty, management and external partners or community members, showing a sensitivity to intercultural communication
- Provide and promote a respectful and supportive environment based on the principles of inclusion, equity and diversity
- Work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Use a variety of appropriate teaching/learning strategies and incorporate UDL principles into the learning environment
- Use academic technology effectively to enhance and support learning, such as a ‘flipped classroom’
- Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes using a variety of techniques
- Develop, revise and adapt appropriate learning assessments and resources for learners
- Engage students to create a positive teaching and learning environment
- Critically examine learning materials and classroom instructional practice for discriminatory bias or barriers
- Provide academic support to learners as part of regularly scheduled office hours
- Maintain contacts with relevant industry and professional associations
- Remain current in technical knowledge and instructional delivery techniques
- Attends meetings, maintains records of learner grades/assessments, and participates in meetings and activities pertinent to faculty responsibilities

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Education or related field of study.
- Master’s degree considered an asset
- CCLP and CCS or CITP designation required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience, including experience in importing, exporting and logistics
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the adult and/or post-secondary level with exposure to teaching a variety of courses such as, but not limited to, Supply Chain Management, Integrated Logistics, Inventory, Logistics, Operations systems and processes.
- Experience in course or learning materials development required
- Experience in blended and online course development and instruction
- Demonstrated competent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team is essential
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community
