**Purchasing Assistant**

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Logistics: Coordinate transportation and orchestrate deliveries to the branches
- Expediting: Create and analyze various Excel-based reports inclusive of open orders, expediting, and supplier performance.
- Inventory management: Support with senior buyer purchase and expedite material to meet demand schedule
- Custom clearance: Collaborate with parties to obtain missing information (Commercial invoice and/or CCI’s) to ensure no delay with customs clearance
- Standard receiving: Verifying shipping document and work in partnership with warehouse for receiving document preparation
- Any other tasks as assigned by management

**Qualifications**
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
- Industry Certifications(or working in progress) considered an asset (CITT, CSCMP, CPIM, CCLP, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supply chain role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills, works well in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Prioritizing and multitasking is a must
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without conditions.

**Salary is dependent on experience**

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
