Hallite is located in Mississauga Ontario. Seeking a full-time **Purchasing Manager** to perform the following duties.

**Position Summary**:

- Manage complete supply chain, inventory planning, purchase order management
- Has a strong background in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management
- Manage stocking models and review material requirements.
- Purchase order creation, order tracking, expediting when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze KPI’s monthly utilizing stocking model parameters
- Determine where continuous improvements can be achieved to improve OTIF performance
- Knowledge of logistics both domestic and international

**Duties and Responsibilities**: (including but not limited to):

- Reporting directly to the Managing Director
- Overseeing daily activities of the purchasing department
- Monitoring and forecasting inventory, determining purchasing needs and identify costs
- Managing procurement budgets and preparing cost estimates
- Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier databases and procurement contracts
- Interfaces with both internal and external sales teams to determine forecast demands and customers service expectations.
- Assists and/or provides back-up in the costing process as required.

**Minimum Education/Experience Required**:

- A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, or economics
- A certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC)
- Experience 3-5 years working in purchasing and or supply chain logistics.
- Must have a high degree of computer literacy. Experience with Infor M3 is an asset
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
- Must be analytical, pragmatic, and able to manage multiple projects
- Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization both internal and external.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills with attention to detail.
- We are looking to fill this position immediately.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
