The Winnipeg Boldness Project is a research and development social innovation lab that utilizes community voices to generate systems change. **As a member of The Winnipeg Boldness Project Team, you will**:
Report directly to the Project Director of The Winnipeg Boldness Project.

Work collaboratively with all members of the team and community partners in the fulfillment of projects.

Responsible for creating and monitoring digital content, including uploading content and managing comments, ensuring appropriate content, conduct, dialogue, and timely response on social media platforms.

Participate on work teams and projects as required to implement community engagement and other related projects.

Support knowledge gathering and research activities for the project by coordinating and facilitating community engagement sessions, cultivating positive relationships with community organizations and partners.

Produce, organize, and manage documents, content, and conceptualized information using community action research both independently and in collaboration.

Develop and implement a work plan surrounding a specific project or goal.

Operate in a values-based decision-making environment.

Stay informed about, and promote community involvement, events, and initiatives in the North End, ensuring that community voices are heard with regards to social policy and academia.

**You possess the following qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience including the ability to**:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in public relations, marketing, graphic design, or

related discipline.

Proficient in MacOS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite; and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

Learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment and manage several tasks simultaneously.

Demonstrate initiative and work both independently as well as collaboratively with other staff and community members.

Respect diverse groups of people and understand the strengths and challenges within marginalized communities.

Practice exemplary oral and written communication skills and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.

Strong interpersonal skills, and maintain a friendly attitude, interest and passion for community building and equity.

Adapt to evolving responsibilities and be willing to expand capacity as the job requires.

Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

**The following qualifications would be assets to this position, but are not requirements**:
Proficiency in Indigenous ways of knowledge and cultural traditions.

Experience working in the Non-Profit field.

Demonstrate understanding of the principles behind social innovation labs.

Skills related to community research, engagement, impact measurement and evaluation.

Awareness of early childhood development principles and research.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
