**Job Title: Community Engagement Coordinator**

As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator.
**Reports To**: Executive Team

**Responsibilities**:

- **Building and Nurturing Relationships**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders including residents, local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
- **Grant Writing**: Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for our initiatives and projects.
- **Knowledge of Indigenous Communities**: Demonstrate an understanding of working with Indigenous communities and governance organizations, respecting cultural protocols and building partnerships based on mutual respect.
- **Networking**: Utilize networking skills to connect with potential collaborators, sponsors, and supporters to advance our mission and goals.
- **Fundraising**: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to support our programs and initiatives.
- **Cultural Competency**: Show sensitivity and awareness of cultural diversity, ensuring our initiatives are inclusive and respectful of all communities we engage with.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in community engagement, grant writing, and fundraising.
- Familiarity with Indigenous communities and governance structures preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
