Are you available for regular ongoing work 3 to 6 hours/week and have some relevant experience/training supporting an individual with developmental disabilities to do fun activities in the community? If so, we would love to hear from you

Respite Caregivers are contractors who work in the City of Vancouver. They provide a break to parents of individuals with developmental disabilities from caregiving responsibilities and a fun, safe and supervised outing/activity for the individual. Schedules are based on the caregiver's availability and the family's needs, but usually entail a 3-6 hour long outing on a weekday or weekend day or about 3 hours once or twice a week.

Caregivers are required to have a clear criminal record, an Emergency First Aid with CPR certification, references and some training or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3-6 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
