The **AR/AP Administrator** will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions for the company.

**Job Duties and Functions**:

- The AP/AR Administrator ensures that both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions are accurate and timely.
- The AP/AR Administrator must have a strong ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team environment.
- Responsible for creation and system entry of all billing of client invoices and receipt of and posting of all payments.
- Responsible for validation, entry and posting of vendor invoices and timely processing of system generated cheque runs.
- The AP/AR Administrator must also be detail oriented and organized working with a high volume of invoices in a fast paced environment.
- Reviewing subledger aging reports with management and making necessary collection calls for delinquent accounts and resolving issues as they arise.
- Reception coverage and administrative duties, as needed.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of Sage 300
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Previous experience working in construction is an asset
