You will be responsible for reviewing & overseeing:
preparation / review of distribution calculations for trusts, LPs including section94.1 rule analysispreparation and distribution of appropriate tax returns and relevant tax slips;filings to the CRAannual GST SLFI filings for investment limited partnerships and trusts-

Coordinating with other Fund Accounting Teams to ensure appropriatereporting of taxes and tax-related disclosures in financial statementsCoordinate and assist clients with all income tax audits as conducted by varioustax authorities, client enquiries on tax slipsEnsure all applicable withholding taxes are correctly calculated and timelywithheld including the filing of the relevant compliance reporting-
You will be responsible for the oversight of outsourced office and their assignedrelationships, ensuring timely and accurate NAV calculation along with any other clientspecific reporting requirements.- Liaising with Investment Managers, Broker’s, Custodians and Investors on a daily basisEnsuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards onan ongoing basis-
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of thefunds’ specifications- Ensure accurate delegation of work across your teamEnsure effective communication with colleagues and corresponding departmentsSkills Required- University degree - accounting, finance, business or economics preferredCompletion of CICA In-Depth Tax Courses Levels I and II; completion of Level III anasset-
