**Why this role is significant**

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you play a significant role in leading and supporting the FOH team. You serve as a management presence on the floor, responsible for ensuring the team's daily energy and effectiveness, while upholding service standards and facilitating communication with the kitchen.

**A day in the life**
- Lead daily service operations, setting the atmosphere and tone for a memorable guest experience.
- Guide guests through their dining experience, offering tailored suggestions to enhance both their experience and overall revenue.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and pairings across all venues.
- Oversee kitchen output and guest service delivery, addressing feedback and managing QSA concerns effectively.
- Complete the end-of-shift supervisor log-out and ensure all closing tasks are performed thoroughly.
- Foster a culture of excellence by empowering and setting an example for the team.
- Monitor and develop team skills, offering coaching, mentorship, and training to elevate performance.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of departmental projects and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure smooth execution of group functions and events, providing exceptional service to all guests.

**What you bring to the team**
- Minimum of 3 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated professionalism with a warm and graceful presence.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations with calm and effectiveness.
- Proven leadership skills with the capability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Genuine enthusiasm for acquiring, sharing, and expressing wine and culinary expertise.
- Effective, efficient, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive work environment that encourages learning, growth, and team development.
- Deeply guest-focused mindset, with an aptitude for working harmoniously with diverse personalities.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Must hold a valid Serving It Right certification.
- Bartending and/or banquet experience is considered an asset.
