Role Overview
About Our Business Operations teams

Our Business Operations teams are the fuel that keeps our organization running at hyper speed. They’re Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales and more. They don’t build robots, but what they do is just as important and just as cutting-edge. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician Co-op will perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products according to well defined criteria. The incumbent will work with production management to provide feedback regarding the accuracy of procedures while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work with Quality Engineers and Quality Technician to perform dimensional inspection for items received from external vendor or machined in house by using hand held tools or CMM machine.
- Work with members of supply chain to ensure the quality of raw material, components and supporting documentation meets Eclipse quality standards.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database
- Raise NCR (Non-conformance report) for any items found not meeting requirements.
- Scan the quality records into the system for traceability and inclusion into the history file
- Assist Quality Engineer to compile history file for project closure.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
- Ensure scheduled milestones are met
- Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
- Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
- Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
- Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Engineering, or Quality related program or equivalent, completed 2+ years of post secondary education so far.
- Strong organizational skills+
- Ability to establish priorities and work without supervision.
- Understanding of basic metrology is desirable.
