**Coordinator, Financial Services Bridging Project**

**(Short-term contract until end August 2024 with the possibility of an extension till end March 2025)**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Employment Specialists to identify and develop a list of potential clients with accounting and finance background
- Liaise with CPA Atlantic to offer multiple information sessions about the pathway to licensure and possible alternative careers
- Work with CPA Atlantic and other stakeholders to develop a pathway to licensure diagram
- Liaise with ISANS Computer Instructor to offer 60 hours training of Sage 50
- Recruit volunteer CPA professionals to offer educational sessions in accounting and finance
- Develop promotional materials and introduce the Financial Services Bridging Project
- Maintain collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies representatives and relevant ISANS staff
- Create tracking mechanisms and ensure required program data and reports are completed and submitted on time
- Meet the objectives of the Financial Services Bridging Project
- Develop and implement an evaluation strategy and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

**General responsibilities**:

- Providing information as required for internal/external reports and proposals
- Reviewing and adhering to ISANS workplace policies and procedures
- Recording all relevant client information on databases in a consistent and timely manner as appropriate to the position
- Participating fully in regular staff meetings, team meetings, training and development and ISANS events
- Performing other duties as required

**Education**:

- University education in business, commerce, public relations, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Adult education/training - certificate/diploma an asset

**Knowledge**:

- Accounting and financial knowledge an asset
- Knowledge or QuickBooks and Sage 50.
- Knowledge of program development and evaluation

**Skills**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Coordination skills
- Demonstrated group presentation/facilitation skills
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills
- Strong computer skills - Excel, PowerPoint, database input & query reporting

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years experience developing and implementing programs or projects
- Experience delivering training/workshops
- Experience working in a Cross-cultural environment; delivering direct service to immigrants an asset
- Financial sector experience an asset
- Experience preparing marketing/promotional materials an asset

- Hybrid work environment: work location will be determined by operational requirements, prioritizing ISANS mission and clients to determine the right balance of in-person and virtual work.

Pay: $24.50 per hour
