**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and prime wood surfaces, including sanding, cleaning, and masking areas for spraying.
- Ensure a smooth, consistent, and high-quality finish, free from defects.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the production and carpentry teams to meet project timelines and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Spray Painter, preferably in custom cabinetry, kitchens, or high-end woodworking.
- Knowledge of spray equipment, including proper operation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of various wood finishes, including paints, stains, lacquers, and varnishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to finishing processes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with high-end custom kitchens or fine woodworking.
- Familiarity with using both solvent-based and water-based finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.

Pay: $57,200.00-$64,064.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Commercial painting: 2 years (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 2 years (preferred)
- Industrial painting: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

**Location**:

- Richmond Hill, ON L4C 1A5 (preferred)
