Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson’s Landing, and Squamish River watershed. As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Ts’ixwts’ixwnítway Member Services Department, reporting to the Director, Lands, the Lands Manager will manage reserve land, resources, environment and Additions to Reserve. This role is responsible for preventing environmental damage and harm to wildlife through careful management of the development and use of a Squamish's land resources. The incumbent will plan, organize, oversee and evaluate the Squamish Nation lands as well as develops and administers laws and policies related to land administration, land and resource management, land use planning, environmental management, fisheries, and land development. Provide expert advice to members and Squamish Nation. Other areas of responsibilities include Property Management, Communications, Membership Engagement, Governance, and Lands Protocol in addition to Collaboration with Departments around key land functions, including Lot Allocation and Transfer, Land Inventory, Environmental Protection and Management, and Natural Resources Oversight.

**Salary**: $78,128 - $89,436 annually, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
