- Permanent full time Monday to Friday 9-5 week
- There are no nights, evenings or weekends

**Duties**:

- Schedule appointments and register new clients and patients into the EMR (plexia)
- Provide patient assistance in filling out forms and discussing treatment options
- Maintain the effective functioning of the centre: putting patients in rooms, room turnover, inventory management and supplies
- Management of doctors letters: typing, editing, faxing
- Billing through MSP and private

**Qualifications**:

- Medical Office Assistant Diploma or equivalent with 2 years experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills along with a strong, professional phone manner
- Solid understanding of medical terminology
- Proven ability to work effectively with a team
- Computer skills and knowledge a must: Windows operating software, PCs
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word,
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Plexia)

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Salary $22-25 /hr depending education and experience, with bonus potential
- We encourage continuing education and pay 50% tuition for relevant coursework
- Medical and Dental after probationary period
- Vacation pay

**Starting Date - Immediately**:

- Will be assessing resumes and starting interviews immediately.
