We are seeking an experienced **Network Supervisor** to lead our highly technical Network Services team. If you have experience developing and maintaining the strategic architectural plan and security standards for an organization’s network services, we would like to hear from you.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service & Infrastructure Support, the Network Supervisor is accountable for the design, development, implementation and monitoring of network systems as well as the security architecture between various mission critical infrastructures. You will be responsible for enabling the communication technology vision for our organization through the design, architecture and implementation of new and complex network technologies, services and capabilities, keeping up to date with developments in network and communications techniques, equipment and software.

Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN, SDA, SDWAN), Cisco ISE, large scale MPLS networks and BGP routing is a key requisite for this role.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Overseeing the design, planning, and deployment of the organization’s network architecture, setting security and architectural standards for network components and services consistent with industry best practices, legislation, and existing corporate policies
- Leading the monitoring and analysis of network performance with a focus on continual service improvement to support specialized technologies and integrated voice, data and radio technologies
- Evaluating, testing and overseeing implementation of network enhancements, as well as recommending improvements and optimization of network resources
- Managing the investigation and resolution of network hardware and service problems affecting system performance, including evaluating and assigning connectivity and bandwidth capacity requirements
- Overseeing the monitoring of user activity to ensure adherence to security policies and appropriate use of information technology systems, planning and executing responses to security incidents

**What you will need**:

- Completion of a university degree in computer science technology or a related discipline plus extensive experience in network design and implementation, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Cisco Certified Network Profession (CCNP) required
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) designation or Cisco Certified Security Profession (CCSP) designation is desirable
- ITIL Foundation v3 or later accreditation is preferred
- Experience creating and designing network diagrams
- Ability to develop strategies and plans for the implementation for complex information systems and networks
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to networking staff engaged in the design and maintenance of the network
- A customer-first mindset, with the ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts and clients
- Creative trouble shooting and problem solving skills, with the tenacity to get to the root cause of technical issues

**Security Requirements**:
As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is ten [10] years.
