**POSITION**: Content & Copy Coordinator REPORTS TO: Content & Copy Manager

**LOCATION**: Remote/Hybrid (BC)

We are looking for a Content & Copy Coordinator to join our Marketing team Our Content & Copy Coordinator is responsible for supporting the multi-channel content and copywriting needs of all our brands.

OPPORTUNITIES
In this role, you will be part of a small but mighty Content & Copy team. As the Content & Copy Manager’s right hand, you will collaborate with in-house Design and Brand teams to support multiple Silver Hills’ brands—including Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery, Little Northern Bakehouse, and One Degree Organic Foods—and contribute to content and copywriting excellence that builds awareness, drives consideration and conversion, and earns loyalty with each brand’s consumer audiences.

- You are a proud word nerd, fluent in the art of writing and developing content and copy for all digital channels. As a marketing writer, you:

- Are genuinely committed to the craft of writing from ugly first draft to publication-ready content
- Understand the role of applied empathy in creating content and copy that delivers value for a clearly defined audience
- Strive to express your brand’s message and positioning in a way that resonates with your audience/s and contributes to marketing objectives
- You are an excellent communicator who can easily work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional marketing team

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You have excellent content development and writing skills. You are able to write in different styles, voices, and tones to convey messages across all channels for clearly defined audiences. (A knack for social media copywriting is a considerable asset in this role)

You have strong computer skills including MS Office and WordPress (creating, formatting, and optimizing content pages and posts (basic working HTML is helpful, but not required))
- You are familiar with CP, Chicago, and/or AP styles (if you don’t have one (or more) of these guides on your desk, you know enough to have opinions and/or preferences on their differences)

EXPERIENCE

**You have**:

- 1-3 years experience content writing and/or copywriting for marketing (or equivalent experience in journalism, media writing, or another publishing field), preferably in food / CPG- and health-focused marketing communications or consumer media, including:

- Experience writing both long
- Experience working with multiple brand voices and creating content for distinct audiences (experience switching back and forth between voices and audiences an asset)
- A proven track record of consumer engagement through brand communications and/or earned media

THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Harness the power of content and copywriting to create excellent brand experiences for audiences and users
- Support the execution of our content marketing and social media strategies through content and copy deliverables tailored to each brand and audience on owned digital and social media channels. In an average week you will:

- Contribute fresh ideas as part of our cross-functional content committees for each of our brands, and work collaboratively to bring ideas and content assets to life

OTHER
- Must be able to work outside of Canada with appropriate travel documents to attend tradeshows as required
