**Job Summary**

We are looking for **Cabling & Installation Technicians **with experience in **Commercial Structured Wiring and Video/Security Installation.**

**Interested applicants should have strong working knowledge and experience in the following**:

- Installing/Running Cat 5e, Cat 6 cabling in a commercial environment
- Server room design and setup
- Fiber Optics installation, terminating, and testing
- Coax installation and testing
- Conduit Installation
- Wire pulling
- Video Surveillance Camera Installation & Setup
- Access Control Installation

**Additional skills/experience that is beneficial (but not required)**:

- Electrical Certifications/apprenticeship
- Security Installation Experience
- Video Surveillance Experience
- Scissor Lift operation, working at heights certification
- BICSI Certifications
- Wireless Networking
- First Aid, CPR, WHIMIS 2015
- VoIP Applications (installation, trouble-shooting, programming)
- Traditional telephony systems (analogue, digital)
- Networking (TCP/IP)
- SIP/PRI
- LAN/WAN communications including MPLS, VPLS, VPNs
- Video Conferencing
- VLANs and Routing
- OSI Model

**Basic Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 drivers licence
- Strong English proficiency both written and verbal
- Must supply own hand tools. Specialized tools will be provided.

**Position Details**:Position is full time (average 40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Occasionally work is required outside of regular hours for projects and cutovers and flexibile work hours are required (project dependent). Work is predominantly based in Calgary, Alberta. A company vehicle is provided for work use. Applicants must have their own transportation to and from our office/job site.

**Compensation**:Compensation offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Company benefits plan is available including extended health, dental, vision, massage, chiropractic, physio, etc.
