By taking a holistic and human-centric approach to care, Vectura Fertin Pharma will innovate the design and delivery of medicines and Consumer Health products that support overall health and wellness management. We will focus on the end-to-end development of a proprietary pipeline of Prescription, Over-The-Counter (OTC) and Consumer products, with a specific focus on areas where we believe we can deliver best-in-class, and highly differentiated products that address existing unmet medical needs.
- Healthcare: Develop and launch fast acting, effective and safe treatments in the field of cardiovascular diseases, neurology, and pain management, all of which can be delivered via innovative technologies.
- Wellness: Bring to market scientifically substantiated botanical products that help people take well-being into their own hands in the areas of Sleep, Energy, and Mental Health.
- About the role:

- Vectura Fertin Pharma is seeking a strategic leadership profile for its ambitious Business to Consumer NRT business (Nicotine Replacement Therapy). NRT supports consumers making healthier choices by providing alternatives to cigarette smoking.
- This is a critical role that will initiate, develop, and oversee all geo-expansion activities, new product introductions and strategic partnerships for the NRT category, globally.
- Over time, as other product categories in the consumer health space develop, this role will seek out strategic or operational synergies across the lines of business.
- Core responsibilities:
- Assess viability of entering new markets with existing or future portfolios
- Provide critical input into pipeline development and prioritization planning.
- Lead planning with Business Development team
- Own top-down and bottom-up business cases for new market entries.
- Help define organizational structure requirements in each new market.
- Provide leadership and mentor local entrepreneurs (Country Managers)
- Provide critical market-specific input into global product development, packaging, and communications activities.
- Evolve and customize long-term strategy for each market within global brand guidelines.
- Develop country-specific launch and sell-in plans, with P&Ls
- Manage the brand lifecycle.
- Ensure local insights understand the country-specific consumer journey.
- Assist with logistics, regulatory and pharmacovigilance activities, as needed
- Deliver annual revenue and profit targets (shared goal with Country Managers)
- Evolve and iterate the NRT operating model as the business matures.
- Build a supportive, open, results-oriented culture.

Role Requirements:
- Entrepreneur mindset (creating momentum and passion within a ‘start-up’ framework)
- 10+ years in sales & marketing, with roles of increasing responsibility. Experience in OTC consumer healthcare is strongly preferred.
- Launching new brands and SKUs (pricing, comms, packaging, positioning, sell-in, etc )
- Market evaluation, including competitive assessments and regulatory environments.
- Interaction with 3rd party sales forces
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance requirements and OTC registration processes
- Syndicated sales data analyses
- Consumer journey and competitive research, insights, and translation to business levers (quantitative and qualitative)
- Strong, open relationships with senior executives and external stakeholders
- Communication and leadership skills within a matrixed organization
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to travel (~25%, with UK, Switzerland and Germany being the most common)
