**About the Role**
We’re looking for an exceptional Bilingual HR Coordinator with a client-centric mentality to act as the first point of contact for employees and external partners for all HR/ Benefits-related inquires. The Bilingual HR Coordinator will collaborate closely with a high-performing HR team, supporting operations and enhancing the overall employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team and contribute directly to NFP Canada’s success.
**What You’ll Do**
- _Data Integrity & Administration_: Accurately create, terminate, update and maintain employee records across all relevant HR systems and folders. Provide administrative support for benefits and Ad hoc reporting.
- _Employee Relations: _Respond promptly and thoughtfully to inquiries in the HR Inbox, ensuring they are appropriately routed when necessary. Assess employees' needs and collaborate with the HR team to educate them on relevant policies, programs, and practices. Act as the primary point of contact for new hires and departing employees, addressing inquiries and providing guidance as needed. Ensure all communications are aligned with provincial legislation, including translating and adapting materials in compliance with Quebec regulations. Serve as the main point of contact for all employees, including those based in Quebec, to ensure consistent support across all regions.
- _Talent Acquisition_: Work with the Talent Acquisition team with the preparation of French offer letters for all new hires in Quebec.
- _Onboarding & _Offboarding_: _Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions in both languages. This entails maintaining accurate information in relevant systems and providing technology setup support. Additionally, manage related activities such as enrolling employees, preparing welcome and retirement kits, updating onboarding presentations, processing reinstatement IT tickets for employees returning from leaves of absence, etc. Maintain accurate records of offboarding activities and update HR systems accordingly.
- _Leave of Absence Management:_ Oversee leaves of absence, particularly maternity leave. Work with employees to ensure they are aware of their rights and benefits during this time.
- _Additional Support:_ Provide general administrative assistance to business and HR team members as needed.
**What You Bring**
- **Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or a related Field - CHRP would be considered an asset**:
- **Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required.**:
- Knowledgeable in HR processes and practices
- Ideally 2+ years of related experience, which includes all aspects of human resources coordination and administrative support.
- Strong experience with MS suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Solid experience managing conflicting and competing priorities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Prior experience with HRIS system - preferably UKG/UltiPro
