Associate Portfolio Manager

**What is the opportunity?**
RBC Dominion Securities Branch located in downtown Vancouver is looking for an experienced Associate Portfolio Manager to join a successful Portfolio Manager’s Advisory Team. In this role, you will provide exceptional client service and assist with portfolio management for ultra-high net worth enterprising families.

**What will you do?**
- Pro-actively identify, investigate, and resolve client inquiries and provide the Portfolio Manager with recommendations
- Make key decisions impacting portfolio modelling and optimization
- Design investment policy statements and compliance
- Develop and document a profile for each client including next steps to increase and solidify the relationship
- Utilizing business development skills to recognize and refer opportunities for clients to benefit from an RBC partner
- Participate in regional/ national projects that seek to improve upon client solutions
- Input trades where required and ensure all account documentation is completed in accordance with RBC Dominion Securities policies, and external regulatory compliance requirement

**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- University Degree in a related field
- CFA Designation (Chartered Financial Analyst)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an experienced professional managing segregated portfolios for ultra-high net worth clients
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Meticulous attention to detail

**Nice-to-have**
- CFP Designation (Certified Financial Planner)
- Marketing / Sales Background
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Advanced skills in Excel, Python, and Bloomberg
