**Residential Donations Assistant (Hybrid)**

At **Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver**, we are looking for a detail-oriented individual, who _excels_ at customer service, to join our ReStore team as the **Residential Donations Assistant**. This role will support the **Residential** **Donations & eCommerce Coordinator** by reviewing online gift-in-kind donation offers and assisting clients through the online booking process.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist residential clients with the in-kind donation program from initial contact to pick-up/drop-off
- Review donation requests and approve, decline, or request more information (reply to clients initial request within 3 business days)
- Maintain an understanding of acceptable products and be able to effectively communicate this information, while preserving a positive interaction with customers.
- Process customer payments and resolve disputes as required.
- Issue goods in-kind tax receipts as requested

**OTHER DUTIES**
- Provide administrative support to the ReStore Leadership team as assigned

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
- Willingness to work weekends, some evenings, overtime as required.
- Knowledge of Habitat for Humanity and the ReStores, and the ability to engage donors, customers and volunteers in our mission.
- Excellent communication and high level customer service skills with the capacity to convey information to staff, donors, customers/clients and volunteers.
- Bring a positive attitude to the workplace
- Process-oriented with the willingness to adapt plans and schedules regularly.
- Knowledge of Metro Vancouver area and online mapping functions is an asset
- Multitasking and quick decision-making.
- Experience processing credit card transactions.
- Independent and team worker, punctual and dependable. Able to work with all levels of the team
- Understanding of used goods and fair market value.
- Excellent time management, planning & organizational skills with little supervision
- Proven interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills
- Proven eye for detail, grammatically and graphically

**Location** - Position based at 7977 Enterprise St, Burnaby. Hybrid work is available.
**Hours** - 20 to 30 hours per week
**Uniform** - Business Casual
**Transport** - Workplace is close to public transit (7 min walk) or free parking is available.
Access to a private vehicle is recommended for occasional use
**Other** - Pet-friendly workplace
**Compensation** - Starting at $18/hr

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
